Hot during fall/winter, the deep side part has continued into spring! So when you want something chic and polished, make this your go-to style. It's a look that we can get behind, especially when all you need is your blow dryer, styling brush and some hairspray to get you looking fab and out the door in minutes. Keep reading to learn how you can create a super sexy and chic deep side part.
Begin with your hair dry.
Using the parting pick of your styling comb, create a deep side part. To do so, place the part where you think it should go...and then go another 1/2" - 1" over from there. We did say we're creating a deep side part! :)
Comb your hair out until you have created a clean part line.
Before you blow dry, spray your hair first with a heat protectant. This will protect your hair from the heat of your dryer and will also add shine and polish to your finish. When applying the thermal spray, apply liberally! When we say liberally, we mean it! The hair should feel slightly damp - approx. 5-7 sprays. We recommend Redken iron shape 11 finishing thermal spray.
Pick up your Sam Villa Professional Ionic Blow Dryer and Styling Brush and begin to blow dry on the side with the least amount of hair. Direct the hair down and back using your blow dryer. Follow your brush with the nozzle as you dry the hair. Continue until your hair is about 80% dry. This will allow your shape to be firm and retain maximum shine. Repeat on opposite side
